Introducing Webcast

Webcast captures content from popular websites and broadcasts substantial portions of the website to your computer over the satellite.  Packaged websites are commonly refered to as "channels", and a channel's content can be browsed off-line without requireing a dialup connection to the Internet.  Webcast utilizes a satellite proxy server, installed during the DirecPC software installation, to receive and view cached website content.  Your Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator web browsers are automatically configured to use the satellite proxy server to view cached and Internet content.  Double-click on the DirecPC icon on your system desktop to launch the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to learn more about Webcast and the currently available Webcast channels.
