Polarizing
the Circular LNB
The
polarization of your LNB will vary depending on which satellite your satellite
adapter card is commissioned to use.
- There is a special mark
on the surface of the circular LNB, which will help you align the LNB and
feedhorn. The LNB and special mark are shown below.
- To align the feedhorn
with the LNB for the G3R satellite, align the mark on the LNB with
the center of the top of feedhorn as shown below.
Note:
Make sure that the word "TOP" on the feedhorn faces up
- To align the feedhorn
with the LNB for the GE1 satellite, first align the mark on the LNB
with the edge of the feedhorn that has the label "TOP". Then by
looking straight on at the feedhorn, twist the LNB counter clockwise until
the mark is aligned with the next hole. The pictures below show
the correct way to align the feedhorn with the LNB.
